De Hogeweyk: Turning Small-Scale, Home-Like Dementia Care into an IoT Monitoring System
Lilekang International will translate De Hogeweyk’s dementia care philosophy into a contactless millimeter-wave radar and mattress-pressure sensing system. AI models will analyze movement frequency and activity patterns to predict fall risk or emotional escalation up to 30 minutes in advance, without capturing facial images and while protecting older adults’ privacy. The system has been locally trained on behavioral patterns among Asian older adults living with dementia, with a first-year target of more than 92% alert accuracy.
Aimage: Modularizing Sensory Art Therapy Spaces for On-Demand, Non-Drug Interventions
Lilekang International will adapt Aimage’s multisensory therapeutic environment into modular, portable rental units. An integrated AI environmental controller will use heart-rate variability data to assess a patient’s emotional state in real time and automatically adjust lighting and background music within 15 seconds. Partner organizations can rent the complete system by the month or scale the modules up or down based on the number of residents served.
Therme: Combining German Aquatic Rehabilitation with AI Exoskeletons to Create a New Smart Aquatic Rehabilitation Setting
Lilekang International and Therme are jointly developing an underwater AI exoskeleton-assisted training system for the hip, knee, and ankle. Rehabilitation therapists will be able to adjust assistance parameters in real time on a tablet while monitoring up to eight patients at once. Partner organizations will not need to build a large hydrotherapy center; Lilekang’s team can complete equipment installation and commissioning within 48 hours.
